Treatment Options
With important medical advances throughout the neurosurgical/neurological and endovascular fields, treatment for brain aneurysms is more promising than it was several years ago. There are more effective and less invasive treatment options for patients, who in years past, would have been told they had inoperable aneurysms.
Doctors consider several factors when deciding which treatment option is best for a particular patient. These include:
• Size of Aneurysm • Location of Aneurysm • Type of Aneurysm • Condition of Patient • Medical History • Other Factors
Were both these doctors neurosurgeons? I recommend a speciality consult directed to your issue as the best course of action. If you think the symptoms are getting worse, head for the hospital. If it seems stable, then one can live with good control of the blood pressure a long time.
