or video's to show me i wan to go there very soon ...would love to talk talking to some freinds that have been there !...or people that are still living there
Well, I can't say that it's been so very recently, but I was in Hanoi, Vietnam, 3 years ago, have been to Thailand several times, and went to the Philippines even further back. My pictures are not readily accessible for me to be able to show you anything, but surely you can get all of the visual imagery you need from the Internet. Check out Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, for example. What immediately caught my attention there was the number of motorcycles on the roads. I knew that there would be a lot, but until you actually are driving amongst them, you have no idea how many there are! I spent 4 days in Vietnam with my son and really enjoyed my visit there, but I am not personally driven to return. I wanted to see the country that my father spent 2 years in when I was growing up. Thailand is fantastic...if you go, don't stay only in Bangkok. Go to Chiang Mai or down to the southern coastal areas, if you can. Again, it's been over 3 years since I was there, so I don't want to offer up much info. Now that I go back and read this, I realize that I haven't said anything of value, but I at least answered your question! Yes, I've been to all of the places you mentioned except for Malaysia. Good luck!

Saigon is now Ho Chi Minh City....things are very inexpensive. I've not been there but I'm a tour operator and we've sent several groups there. I've thought of going there....I heard an economist say that Vietnam's economy is where China's was about 10 years ago....
