Please do not hold me accountable to be "politically correct" in using He.

I didnt, I believe it was your suggestion of me missing 'balance' from the equation which prompted my comment on this

but, being as it has been brought up - the absurdity of the Adam and Eve story is found to be quite amusing by some feminist scholars - that is if you are truly looking for a way forward - maybe you could simply google that - the absurdity............ take your pick, religion, the bible, noahs ark oh yes, Adam and Eve too.

There are some amazing tales on ex chriatian net and atheist dot com too

all the best in your search

HealthyLiving: It is miserable because people do not choose to accept everyone and love everyone unconditionally.

What the world needs NOW is Love, sweet Love!!!!!!!!!

But GOD himself does not love unconditionally........You are supposed to believe in him to have everlasting life. If you do not, you ill surely perish!

Sounds like a dictator.

Well the Hippy movement tried that in the 60's, as a result they are the biggest crooks to walk the planet to date. Constantly telling people how to live their lives with there liberal politics. I think the majoity of them dropped a few to many acid tabs.

trish123: no attack from me my friend - I completely, entirely and unequivacably agree these people constantly tell us to read their book when in truth I find it hard to believe that they have ever read anything other than the lines put into their weekly sermons - the book is replete with evil intent and contradfiction - and only a blind fool could miss these blatantly obvious facts

I have never even once told you to read the Bible. And I know that you did not aim this directly at me. In general, I must say that I agree with both you and goose on this comment. What I quoted to him was a writing which I experience to be true. Many others can relate to it. Many read these forums who never write a post.

As I have tried to state clearly on previous posts, I would like to present knowledge of knowing God to the pew warmers who attend churches listening to preachers who have been taught in schools of theology, who have no knowledge of God on a personal basis, that there is more to it than what they are being taught.

I have the right to answer gillys question in a way that will enlighten those pew warmers. I did not know either of you were in existance on this planet when I made the post, so it was not intended for you. Sorry if I offended you on your beliefs, but I was not talking about you or your beliefs and my message was not directed towards you in any shape or form.

Encourage one another and build one another up... this is an act of love. I am not trying to convert you... it isnt about YOU! So why must you aim to discredit and cause disention? Let those who want to know more, obtain the knowledge. Start a post of your own explaining to us what you believe since your God or whatever is so different. Perhaps others would like to know your way also.

Love... it's Universal. heart beating

Thanks for the helpful tips, Trish!

I am neither Adam and Eve, or Adam and Steve, or Bev and Eve.

Neither do I obtain to know the experience of any of them. Neither have I experienced the flood with Noah and the Ark. I will only speak of my own experiences. I live in the NOW.

It has been interesting to meet you Trish.

Do you have any pics of the blue herons in your garden? I would like to see them and perhaps add them to my blue heron screen saver slide show. Thanks, HL

I will get you some pics in the spring, they are amazing!

Where I live there is a network of little rivers and there is one at the bottom of my garden - about 4 gardens along there is a bridge which goes right under the church. There are trout in the river so the herons love it as it is also pretty quiet and they often potter about in the shade of the bridge too.

They fly by so majestically and beautifully that the wonders of nature are so very evident.

Ive not had the camera long enough to get piccies yet but they are on my list of things to do.

I too live in the now - but with a very, very keen eye on the future - all the best handshake

oh, and a keen interest in history too laugh

Best to you too dear one!
