jbibiza: Well just happy that everyone is all right! I spent about 2 months in Bristol TN. met an amazing string instrumentalist that used to do session work with Micky Gilley and Charlie Daniels also met alot of other really wonderful people. Are you anywhere in that area?

Bristol is about 120 miles from us (we live just Northwest of Knoxville). But it's all East Tennessee...

What's Azerbaijan like... what makes it worth going to visit?

It really is a great place. I spent over 2 years there and traveled all around the country. Baku has some really intersting and well preserved historical sites. The people are really nice and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Cost is relatively inexpensive (A full dinner for two at a nice Azeri resturant will cost you no more than $20.00) Nice hotels are expensive but there are good hotels for around $100 a night.

Getting around the city is easy and cheap as well. About $3 - 5 dollars will get you where you want to go. It's also very easy to hire drivers to take you outside Baku.

It has its problems too. The Caspean around Baku is oily and the traffic can get really bad. I would suggest using the taxis and staying away from the bus system.

OK, that's enough. I may be boring the hell out of others If you want more specifics just let me know. but I know what you know.... etc... Take care

jbibiza: I was lucky and was able to travel freely for almost 3 years, but I don't have that kind of money any more, so I want to make the most of where I go. What is about the Turks and Caicos that interests you?
