I am not much for tv ... but having had cable for years and now suddenly do not.. watching prime time tv.. is it just me, or does anyone else notice a theme with alot of these crime dramas on the tube today... dealing with violence against women and children.. and what is up with this.. is this entertainment??
It is considered entertainment in the eyes of most people. But it really isn't that big of a deal since the media has been working to desensitize society for years. Things like that on tv are no big deal to anyone these days, it's moreso just accepted as it is. Then when something really does happen outside of filming studios, our reaction is, that's a sad story, I feel bad for the victims family and we move on with our daily lives. It's cruddy that things are this way, but it's life and we'll always move on.
