Having served with the GURKHAS. i now found that they dont have the right to abode in this country.
But you may find this decission to be the right one.

I DONT. they were reliable under fire. and they offered the same allegiance to queen and a country many miles from there own home.
Am i proud to be British NO

The Gurkha's have earned the right to live in this country. They have fought in many conflicts modern and old to defend this country. There is no other people from outside the UK who doesn't have the right to a British passport then they do. Our government says it prides it's self on a multi-racial population. Yet it will not let in people who have fought for us. Maybe because it is the wrong kind of people. Soulders. It is scandalous that the government denies these brave people who have fought for Queen and COUNRTY the right they truly deserve.

I was at a Gurkha cultural event this year and met many serving men and their families who were absolutely delightful besides brave so I think yes they have the right to abode here.
