No i was always encouraged to think for my self. However my parents always the final say when i was a child. All of my siblings are confident and are slightly rebellious
Years ago I knew a woman with 3 kids, they were on food stamps. The mother sold the foodstamps for drugs and alcohol, so she had no $$ left for food. Then she sent her 11 yr old son to the store to shoplift meat because she know that since he was a minor, the could not prosecute him.

Honestly, They are my foster Parents ( we wont go into my real parants)
No clue.. Their entire family is like that. But they are pretty strick Bible thumpers, I think they are living too much by the old testiment. Glad I knew better and that it is wrong.
Yes. They instilled in me a very strong sense of the work ethic!!
And yes, it has affected me...... I'm totally shattered (okay, just tired actually)...
They even sent me to a school where every morning we had to sing: ''That I may serve in daily duty fervent, without reserve be willingly a servant.....''. As you can see there was no hope for me from the start, and now all I can do is work my medium-sized backside off while those with wiser parents sit back and enjoy
