I have been to the USA once and was treated with great courtesy and kindness.
I did not like the price of insurance for a motor car, and also the country is so VAST. Having to drive for 10 mins for a newspaper or to go to the bar (drinking & driving is obviously illegal) meant socialising was restricted.
I had a good time though, but its not top of my holiday destinations.
