It is with said regret that I announce the loss of my 12 year feline companion................

05/01/1996 - 01/11/2008


To Kiddy:

She will not go quietly, the feline who shared my life.

In subtle ways she will let me know that her spirit still survives.

Old habits still make me think that I hear her meow as I enter each room, or step back when I drop another cat treat to the floor.

My feet will still go around the place her food dish used to be, and always when I come home, I will miss her terribly.

Although time may bring new feline friends and more food dishes to fill, that one place in my heart belongs to her...........

AND ALWAYS WILL.

Yes, I agree. No one person should have to tolerate any type of unwanted physical touch !

I am in agreement with the statement about being " new " to a serious long term relationship and also the types of behavior that each one brings into the relationship that they think is " acceptable ".

I think that those mixed signals are happening in this situation and hope that they can become clearer in the future.

Instinct does take over in those situations and I would imagine that the longer I heal from those old experiences, the less gun shy I will be.

A. To really pay attention to someone talking to you is not often easy. Most people are good listeners as long as they are TALKING.

B. Listeners are only good if they keep the ears open.

Unfortunately, most of the " GOOD " things in life do not come easy.


We often get a lot of pits in the cherry bowl.

Fakes aside, old pictures and false profile information aside, the truth remains for me....................I would not actually have met and formed new friendships if I had given up or in to the dating routines.

Please believe this............just as there are men wanting decent women, the same holds true for women.

It takes a lot longer to find the right one than the wrong one !

I have appreciated the comments Ron.

The truth is..............after experiencing what pain comes from being struck for a violent reason and someone wanting to " love pat " it is often hard for those old " feelings " not to re-surface.

Maybe my true problem is my own inability to explain what I am actually feeling to this gentleman, or maybe he should just respect my answer ?

I guess maybe I just fee " threatened ", probably just my own anxiety about the past.

Trying to explain those feelings to someone that has never experienced them is often times difficult and it usually ends up with the other feeling like they did "something wrong ".

Most of the people ( men and women ) on any dating site, that have dated, are scorned.

Sorry that you have had the bad experiences, however, haven't we all ?

I will say that CS did hold many get togethers and I was lucky enough to join up with many wonderful new friends all the way in Canada and yes, people do actually meet on this site.
