I think that emotional maturity has many things to do with whether or not a couple could make a relationship work with a large age difference.
My ex husband was 5 years younger and I have dated men up to 5 years older.
I could not see myself dating a young man that was extremely young and was not stable in life goals and mature enough to carry on an intelligent conversation. On the other side, I do not think that a gentleman over 90 years old would make me happy.
Once upon a time there lived a queen who had a beautiful cat, the colour of smoke, with china blue eyes, which she was very fond of. The cat was constantly with her, and ran after here wherever she went, and even sat up proudly by her side when she drove out in her fine glass coach.
