My first wife was 9 years my senior. Second was 2 years younger. I don't see age as a factor, unless your talking like extreme. I wouldn't date a woman under 25, because they lack the experience and life knowledge that I have learned.
Besides, if I dated a younger lady like that, and we didn't work out, how is she supposed to find happiness with men her own age once she has experienced a seasoned man?

Not really. I do have boundaries though lol I recently dated a guy from this site who was 23. He seemed very mature but unfortunatly he wasn't. So I don't really go for younger guys than me. Well not those who are close to the legal age anyways lol
As for older. I never usualy go more than about 15 years older than me.
