RE: What does your first name mean ?

Jehovah Increases. This must be accurate, the first 38 years has shown a steady increase in my debt.....

Don't tell me God doesn't have a sense of humor. cheers

RE: YES, YES, YES!!! There is life on Mars after all!

Cool. Maybe when we get through ruining this planets enviroment, we can move our children there.
Thanks for sharing the news, Marina. I've always wanted to go there.

Valentines day death.

Thank you all for the prayers and warm wishes. Gabriel was exceptional, it was almost as if you could see an angel under his bright eyes. I guess he did a good enough job of it that God wanted to promote him.
Taboon, me and my wife are back together, so I am technically staying at home in Ga. However, at the moment, I am working in Philadelphia, so I am staying in a motel here in Media, Pa.
Missy and I broke off our relationship midyear 2006. But I helped raise her boys for a time.

Gabriel Allen Sermons was his name.

Valentines day death.

Some of you who know a bit about me may remember that I was seeing a woman named Missy for about 8 years. She had two sons, the youngest named Gabriel. He was 6 at the beginning of this month. He took ill valentines day morning, and died on the way to the hospital. He was dead before noon. No one knows why at this time.
I filmed his birth, changed his diapers, took him swimming and such. He was such a gifted child. Smart, witty, a real charmer. What a loss for those that are left.
Sorry if I bring anyone here down...but the day seems a great deal dimmer to me now.
Hugs to all of you. If you pray, please pray for strength and healing for the family of Missy.... She lost her brother to suicide last year, and now her youngest son.

RE: INCONVENIENT TRUTH....(GLOBAL WARMING)

Random Stranger, so I take it that is what you grew into from a child?

If indeed you believe these words you have posted, why are you still here?

Or are you just wanting attention?

Don't just talk about what you believe, show me. I'm doing what I can to make both my world and my kids world better.

What are you doing?

RE: men

I'll answer this with another question.....

Does the size of a man's wallet matter....confused

Seems the same to me........wine

RE: If you could do one thing in your life...

Perhaps. Buts that the way I see it...at least for now.

RE: If you could do one thing in your life...

I would shed my insecurities much, much earlier in my life than I did. Along with my jealously, hatred, ignorance, and all the other negative crap most folks eventually grow out of. I guess when I finally get myself to where I am satisfied with all aspects of me, I'll probably die. Ain't that just like life?

RE: Speaking of Jobs-- what is yours

Ok, leave the bikini off, then......grin

No one else on the beach at 4am anyway...

I do have a great indoor heated pool here at the motel I'm in.

Oh, better tell em what I do....I'm a certified welder/boilermaker that works for various union contractors all over the great United States. Mostly work for power companies, although we do build/maintain paper mills, steel mills, hydro-electric dams, oil refineries, etc.

RE: Speaking of Jobs-- what is yours

Vacation Alex? Hey....I happen to be at the beach.....

Great restaurants, long beaches, good fishing....

Grab that bikini and come on!!!

yay

Guess What?

Hey ya'll. Just an update on me. I'm back at work in Millsboro, Deleware. Staying in Ocean City, Maryland. Nice place, good restaurants here. Ocean is right outside....

I'll be here for 5 to 6 weeks, maybe longer. Hope all of you are doing well.

Joe.

Guess What?

Ok, ya'll. I'm home. Or close enough, anyway. Thanks to all of you who think about me when I am travelling like this. And Heather, don't feel bad, it just wasn't in the cards. We're still friends.

Blancalatina, thanks for the compliments. Very nice of you.

Take care all, and I'll be sculking around off and on for the next week.

Love ya's. Joe.hug

Guess What?

Thanks ya'll. I'm just south of Richmond, VA, right now. Had to stop for coffee.....

And yes, it's Georgia (Ga). My kids live there with thier mother.

Making good time, if I could just stay awake. I'm afraid I'm going to have to go back out to work on Monday, and that means leaving Sunday, and I won't get there till later this afternoon, (Thursday), and then have to sleep some, and dammit, thats just not enough time!

If I can, I'm taking off till around Friday of next week.

See ya later, got to get going. Hugs to everyone.

Joe.

Guess What?

Thank you Lionhearted. I bought the movie "over the Hedge" for them..

We'll sit around and laugh our buts off at it. grin

Guess What?

I'm not sorry, photo, I came here for a 5 week shutdown, and made 5 weeks and 3 days. Enough for me.

Time for me to go. Kids to play with and a river to play in.

But thanks anyway.

cheers

Guess What?

Lol. Once again I've been laid off. Funny thing about the boilermakers....getting laid off is a happy occassion. I get to go visit my kids now for a little while, maybe even a week.
So I'm embarking on my journey home to Ga, where my children await me.
Wish me luck, and know that I'll be thinking of all of you, although I may not be around for a little while.

Love you all...Joe.

RE: Psssssssssssssttt DID YOU KNOW??

Now how ironic is that? Wikked's birthday coming just 13 days before halloween....13.....pretty wikked, I'd say.

Happy Birthday to one of the most insightful, intelligent, interesting, and attractive friends I have here. Ursilla, I hope it's a great day for you!

yay

(PS, I'd do my traditional naked birthday dance for you, but I just finished a 12 hour night shift, and I'm just tuckered out. Tell you what, though...I'll sing Happy Birthday to You in the shower in a few minutes.)

RE: dog lovers unite...

I have always loved dogs. Just before me and the last wife married, I bought her a maltese puppy. We affectionately called her our first born, and I'm pretty sure she thought she was. Named her Hannah. I would have to alot another 5 minutes in my morning routine because Hannah would always hide under the bed and grab my pant legs when I was getting dressed. Then she would play tug-of-war with them. Later that day, when returning from work, she would do the same thing with my socks. She will still do it today if I let her. I have had all types of dogs, and Hannah is one of the more special ones.
I wish I could post a video of her dancing for a bacon treat....
Man I miss her about as much as my kids.

RE: Hi everyone!!

Hi, and welcome to the CS family. Pretty thing like you is sure to get all kinds of mail/flowers. Don't go to fast, and be carefull if you set up meetings. Make sure the first one or two is in a public setting, or something similar. Keep your personal safety always your top priority.

By the way, what makes you sparkle? grin

I'm joe handshake

RE: Breaking the pattern

I have learned to seperate the attraction of lust from the (possible) attraction of love.
I ask myself, honestly, if I was wearing a blindfold, would I still find this person attractive?
Many times I have to answer no to that question.
In doing so, however, I have found one or two minds here that I find extremely attractive.

RE: does what someone does for a living (earn their pay) influence your decision to date them

It's true that it takes a special kind of person to do what I do for a living - It takes an even MORE special person to love us.

Amen to that, brother. I'm a boilermaker/certified welder. I travel all over. Hard to keep a ladies interest when you work like that.

RE: Men in kilts!

Thats so weird, I do the same thing whenever I see a woman in a short mini-skirt......
grin

RE: maybe a new.....

Thanks, Lion, but not fishing, just taking another viewpoint.

RE: maybe a new.....

If money was no object, I wouldn't need plastic surgery....rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Heck, I'd force all the other guys to have surgery to make em look worse than me!!! devil

RE: happiness

If I could gain a financial position where I could be capable of spending more time with my children, that would make me happy.

And, of course, if I looked in the mirror and had that George Clooney/Mel Gibson reflection.....rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

RE: breaky

I eat breakfast everyday. Usually have three eggs over medium, bacon, or Tenneesee Pride sausage links when I can find them, and toast. It just gets me going and I love eggs.

My welding partner picks at me all the time, he says I eat so many eggs that if you cut me, I'll bleed yellow....grin

RE: Giants or Falcons?

Thanks, I'll have to keep up with them on my cell phone. I start work at 5:30pm. Welcome to CS, nerdhumper. cheers

RE: Giants or Falcons?

I gotta root for my home team. GO FALCONS!!! Doing the dirty bird........cheering

What time do they play?

RE: Okay, this nuclear thing

Lol, Ron. I just got off work. Working nights now....
