not only that, but life experiences differ among different age groups.

probably why i've always stuck with older men...and i think i'm gonna continue to do so.

I am so glad this is here. I needed validation that where I am and what I'm thinking about age...is not only my perspective.

Ditto. I've lived a couple lifetimes worth and I need someone to comprehend that. Heaven forbid, maybe even relate.

*Disclaimer: There's probably one or two exceptions somewhere on the planet.

I agree completely and I know relationships with age differences can work but without sounding as though I am generalising, men are usually attracted by youth, it's something to do with procreation genes so my philosophy is to stick with older men. They are usually more interesting anyway!

Ok to answer the thread (I think)
I went out with a guy 14 years my junior and one 5 my senior.
But prefer them a few years younger really and always are. But 14 years was a bit much, he was quite imature at 31.

OK being serious. Truly age is the last thing I think about when meeting someone. If there is chemistry, I'm interested.

I have dated older and younger. I have no preferrence however, I must add the best relationship was with a man 10 yrs. younger. Better attitude, more mature, and ummmm ... let's not forget better stamina. Best intimacy I have ever experienced.

Age really doesn't matter. However I wouldn't date anyone too much younger than myself.Maybe 5yrs at most.
