Thanks guys. Just wanted to let you all know there are good ones out there. The funny thing is that he dated my best friend right out of high school. Then we met 20yrs later on the internet. Come to find out he was good friends with my brother & had been trying to talk him into going out with his sister.It took him almost 2yrs after we started talking to ask me out.
Just wanted to share my good news. I got engaged this past Saturday. It was so romantic. We went out for a sunset sail & while I wasriving he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. Then he pulled out the ring. We've already decided on May 16,2009.
I'm needing some advice as towhat to cook for my ex-boyfriend(considering getting back together) He was in a water skiing accident this past weekend & tore a muscle in his leg. I told him I'd cook him dinner tomorrow night. He told me to surprise him. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I've just recently been in a similar situation.I datyed a guy for a year and a half.Then he tells me he never wants to get married again.He knew from the get go that I wanted to get married someday.It really hurt me to have been strung along.Then 4 months later he calls and says he's changed his mind.So we did go out again but my feelings weren't the same.He was ready to sell his boat to give me the wedding I wanted.It was really hard but I had to let him go because I just didn't feel the same anymore.

I can relate.It's hard to accept a good thing when you are used to being hurt.Just be sure to be true to yourself.Laughter is good for the soul.You can never have too much of it.Hope all goes well with you .
