I know exactly what you're talking about. My daughter is 19.It's amazing how fast they grow.My son will be 15 next month.Hard to believe he'll be out of school in 4 years.
I find the older I get the more I say what's on my mind.I think it has alot to do with how one feels about themselves. If one is self-confident they are going to care less with what others think about what they say.
Reminds me of when my boyfriend took one.He doesn't need it either, but one of his friends gave it to him without me knowing. After round one we were lying in bed & he starts laughing & says I think it's working.I had no idea what he was talking about. He just kept laughing & saying it's working.I started wondering if he had a hidden camera or something. He finally told me.
I've had both positive & negative reactions. The negative mainly come from friends & family because of safety reasons.I've met 3 people in person that I met on-line.Two I met in a public place & had my sister-in-law call to make sure everything was ok.The third one was actually someone who dated my best friend from high school. We all used to hang out & party together. He & my brother have been good friends for 4 years now.He & I started talking on-line then on the phone.Eventually he got up enough nerve to ask me out.Going on 11 months.Woooo Hoooo!!!!I've finally found my perfect man.
My father & half sister were murdered in Texas. It will be 8yrs. on 8/22/07.The 2 men who killed them without a doubt are guilty. They both recieved life in prison.Shortly after it happened I began praying for the two young men.I still have mixed emotions even after having been affected by it.Sometimes I think capital punishment should be legal & sometimes not.My problem with life in prison is that alot of times people in prison live better than alot out of the system.Who pays for their needs? We do.On the other hand I think they should have to look at the pictures of what they did to my father & half sister every day.Maybe even speak about their crime.
