Lots of places to walk in Boston and the train and bus system is very good.
Harvard Square, Arnold Arboretum - walking in the gardens, theatre district with great restaurants, Chinatown area with lots of wonderful oriental food.
I LOVE BOSTON - my daughter lives there and my son used to live there before he moved to Redmond, WA.

Dave...
Check out Fanuel Hall (I think that's how you spell it)....
Awesome place.....big outdoor "mall".....and they have some incredible food there, too.
The Boston Aquarium...at the Hahbah......they have an amazing tank that has about 5 flights of spiral walkway around it...sharks, barracudas, sea turtles....last year they had huge Jellyfish display...illuminated so you can see the long tentacles...
Don't forget the Constitution, it's not too far from the Boston Aquarium next to the Coast Guard Station. There's also the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. That is Faneuil Hall :)
Got kicked out of a Yankees/Red Sox game down in NY once. One time while stationed down there for the Coast Guard we were on a normal flight getting in flight time when we noticed there was a game. Tuned in the FM radio to the local radio station and hovered just outside the wall behind home plate. We were there for about 5 minutes before a police chopper came along :D
