riyablossom: what are the things you would like to do , people you would like to meet or spend time with , things you would like to take care of etc ...
within the time you have ?

In simple words , what are the things you would wish to do if u knew when you were going to die ?(I am hoping for serious , sincere replies please. Thankyou )
I think a picnic or BBQ with ALL my family & friends would be a nice thing. Just to be surrounded by the people I love & care about. To see & hear all of them laughing & playing in the sunshine would be a great last memory for me.

riyablossom: lucky both of you.

Yes, my father is still living and I would want to spend a bit of time with him, to try to ease his pain, but most of it would be spent with Em.

You know what's funny, is that Emily and I were talking about this yesterday. My mom was always the person who would have raised Em if something happened to me. So within a couple of weeks of my mothers death I had talked with my cousin about raising Em, she and her husband discussed it and prayed about it and then she sent me the most lovely note telling me how honored she was that I had chosen her and how much they loved Emily.

I had so much to deal with after my mothers death, but having that one thing taken care of, knowing that Emily would be well cared for no matter what, eased my mind tremendously.

I also have another back up person, so that is well-covered.

It's a very difficult thing to do, choose the best person to raise your child if it can't be you. I know that I have made the best choice for all concerned.

I'm sorry, Riya, this is a little off topic. My apologies.

Interesting. I think my life would be very different if I were to live today as if it were my last.

The thing is that I have no idea when my time is up. It can be as soon as I finish hitting the post key from this thread. I admit, questions like these could be a good motivator for change.
