I hope you can have both the car of your dreams and the woman of your dreams.
To those on CS who haven't had the pleasure of meeting Faust, he is a brilliant man with a great imagination. He use to post here alot, but only sometimes comes back to say hello. His posts and threads were a great joy to participate in, and we miss you here buddy!!!

Hey Faust, great to see you back!
I think you're doing the right thing for you anyway. Quit looking, do what you like, and who knows, maybe you will find that babe who likes cars as much as you do!
Me, I could care less about cars, I don't even have a car of my dreams. Don't really have a man of my dreams either.

hrt4lse: You'd take the car I guess?
Me, I'd take the man of my dreams & HE can get me the car of my dreams (however, that keeps changing).
Someone mentioned joining a car club...good idea...also check out the girls that go to the Hot August nights & Cool April Nights events (at least that's what we have up here)....with lots of show & shines during the event.
Thanks, I think I will try that. That's another thing. Not a lot of people are friendly in this town, like seriously. It is like a bunch of stereotypical people in many small tribes. All my friends are lame when it comes to cars, they like them but do nothing. By the time it comes time to do something with their cars, they end up having a girlfriend and there goes the opportunity. I plan on leaving California later anyways, and I suppose I do have friends in California who do things with their cars. I have a Celica Car meet in Covina the 21st. I am just going to focus on that.
Thanks everyone, you have been helpful, and it was very interesting hearing your responses. Even that Progressive Caveman who uses foul language and is a million years of evolution away from figuring out "If you have nothing to contribute to the thread, don't post". Gee, no wonder we find that guy on this site, huh?
AudrysSis: Oh, I already have the car of my dreams.... :)))))) Currently working on it... my little old alligator... (he's in my profile pic - can't wait to get him on the road again)
I cannot compare cars to men though, each has its own place in my life (obviously one of these places currently vacant )
I'd tell you my car love story but it's way too crazy to relate on a public board.
So what IS your dream car, and what's stopping you?
I have another dream car - my next project would be importing a DeLorean.... Or a Bricklin (even more difficult to find, I'm sure )
Plenty of Bricklins here in Canada, a few DeLoreans and even some rusty Volvos for parts..
Odd choices considering the history of the two manufacturers, but cool cars none the less.
I still want a '70/'71 Lamborghini Muira and/or a '66 Ford GT40, among other cars. A nice 427 Cobra would do as well.
