Don't CHANGE (90)
In response to: He was a neurotic for years.He was anxious and depressed and selfish.Everyone kept telling him to change.
He resented them,and agreed with them,and he wanted to change,but simly couldn't,no matter how hard he tried.
What hurt the most was that,like the others,his best friend kept insisting the he change.So he felt powerless and trapped.
Then,one day,his best friend said to him, ''Don't CHANGE.I love you just the way you are.''Those were music to his ears,''Don't CHANGE,Don't CHANGE.Don't CHANGE....I love you as you are.''
He relaxed.He came alive.And suddenly CHANGED!
Now he knew that he couldn't really change until he found someone who would love him whether he CHANGED or not.

it is ones choice to whether one feels a change to make within ourselves that desperatly need to take place,
Regardless, we can all still love that person even though they are struggling with reality, and sadly some will check out.
But to look back you know you were there, and the greatest thing is, they allowed you there. (you never tried to change them, you were just there)

What a foolish thing to think anyone can change anyone...you just have to accept peeps for what they are. If that works for you great...if not well, they are not for you. Always be true to yourself.
