WHAT WAS YOUR WORST DATE ?? (7)

There has to be some funny experiences out there.

As a gentleman, you should be writing about your worst date first...but ok. Truth speaking, I can not remember any worst date, but some extremely boring ones, since I was 15....sooooooooooooo many years back.
One, I had some months back...a fun date...as I saw a guy my age saying in our local newspaper that he is a spiritual person.....well, first and last date like that one: he was a sinlge guy, still living with dad and mom at the age of 50, never married, not spiritul at all, but he had put it as "nowadays people think that is in", he confessed to look just for a romp and no more...in other words, for a kind of free prostitude...which made me laugh a lot, seeing how weak and foolish some guys can get
Now, most dates have been highly interesting conversations, if you need practice as a psycologist, others, we have kept a long friendship till now, but I don t feel it could work out under the same roof....Cherokee ladies have keen eyes and look underneath the surface of their pretenders

I think my dates are getting progressively worse, hahaha. However one date that I do remember in particular which was back in the 60's.
My friend and I went to Aberystwyth in Wales. He had been there a few weeks earlier and had met a girl that he liked there, we went down for the day in his first car, he was 17 and I was 16. He phoned and arranged a lunchtime meeting with the girl who he had met previously and she bought a friend with her, as my date.
We went for lunch on the beach, as there was a beach where you could drive
a car on to the sands..... As I knew how to drive a car, but was too young for a license, I took my date for a ride in the car, along the beach.
After about a mile I noticed that the car was slowing down ?? eventually it came to a halt , up to the axle, stuck in the sandy mud !!!
My friend and his date eventually arrived as we were trying to get the car out of the mud, so the 4 of us were trying to get this car out of the mud by digging away with our hands and jamming things under the tyres for them to grip. Mud was flying everywhere.
We then noticed that the tide was coming in !! After what seemed like an eternity, we eventually managed to get it moving and back to solid ground before the tide sunk it. We were all absolutely plastered in mud and debris, the girls clothes were ruined. Needless to say, after dropping them off, we never saw them again. That was one date I will never forget.

En Silencio - have nothing to add in the "worst" category.

Had very few "dates" as such, and they have been worth remembering all of them. But no, no soup spilt, no ripped trousers, no clumsy words...

Gezuusss - sounds boring

It has been terrific moments with a lot of laugh and intimate memories
