The_Kansan: Welcome to American Slang 101! "Wally World" is used mostly as another (slang) name for Wal-Mart.
Please tell me that I don't have to explain what Wal-Mart is?
It was in a Chevvy Chase film so I thought it made up. Its okay, I think I know what Wal-Mart is, yes.
References made to the other members? I think we spoke too soon...!!! I now have to decide whether to partake in yet another "intellectual" and "profoundly philosphical" thread or clean the grill-pan.....

Hmmm... Could be I was referring to myself in this case.
In the Chevy Chase film, Wally World is indeed a "made up" place - Kind've a parody of Disney Land. (Didn't realize that was the comedy you were taling about, as I've also heard the term used in American Sit-coms.)

Thank you for that, love!
As for the reference to some other members.... I can't imagine who you could possibly mean?
*uncrosses fingers from behind back*
(BTW, Indy.... Wally World doesn't REALLY exist, does it?)
I saw it featured in an American comedy so I took it that it was made up?
