What Russia? There's 19ish or so small countries that are barely surviving, their saving grace is that they have the nuke and they don't have the finances or knowledge to construct and fire an ICBM capable of touching the U.S.

Not that I doubt your great knowledge in most areas, but I believe there is a difference between The Soviet Union = "19ish or so small countries" and Russia = 1 of those 19 countries...
