Daniel4021Somewhere, Tennessee USA157 Threads 8,986 PostsDoes anyone think this is true? I think it's because of chioces we make.. what we may or may not allow.. When you hear someone say or even we say ourselves, it wasn't meant to be, it like we are saying there is some higher power that makes these decisions as to what will be, and what won't.. I don't mean just relationships, it could be anything.. What do all of you think?

Yeah I do think some things are meant to be. I know this is bad and generically cliche, but I think all things happen for a reason.

I'm not so sure anymore.. if some things are meant to be, I also believe we have a lot to do with not allowing it to happen, I mean we all have free will.. jmo

What I mean by saying that is that if it is meant to be things will fall into place. Sure you have to put forth the effort, but if you are always dealing with drama or having problems...You have probably seen your signs telling you things are not meant to be but are just ignoring them.

I agree to an extent, but if there is drama, then that would be a concious decision made by the other person to now allow something..
So then was it not ment to be, by things happining for a reason, or by chioce? Or was there some unseen force preventing it..?

True. I also think it would have to be by choice for certain things not to happen or decisions were made by either persons involved.
Example: If one person approaches another and admits their feelings for that person and the other person rejects those advances then I'd say it's by choice.

Probably so. Sometimes they can be so pigheaded/stubborn not to see something that's right before their eyes by reaching out and grabbing it.

Well, there have been times that I have been in situations that I saw things, but was to afraid to do anything about it, so in my case I let it go by.. I saw something Shell posted yesterday that really made me think.. I didn't respond to it, but I should have, seem she was thinking alone lines.. have we all really benn beat up so badly emotionaly, that we just can't live again/ and to those that try to, they just seem to get knocked back down again..
