Beenabout: HA HA!(sorry for laughing luv)-but your last paragraph reminded me of those fortunate people who bought a Rolls Royce car new and if it developed a fault and you were the sole owner-the car was trailered away and returned within a very reasonable time-always with the same statement-'No Fault Found Sir'-not too sure if that applies these days though?-cant see it applying to computers!!!!.
that thought did cross my mind so could be interesting to see if a similar thing happens in this case or not
lint874: Why couldn't they just send you a replacement PSU with instructions on how to fit it?
It takes less than 15 minutes to swap a PSU, not 2 weeks.
Maybe they heard my son's not very good at fixing computers, it would probably take him 15 minutes just to get the lid, back or whatever comes off the tower and I'm clueless with computers so would be no help either
We're not having much luck with computers in this house at the moment. Yesterday morning (5am)I was half asleep when I woke up and glass of water was on computer table which is next to my bed. I knocked glass of water over and it poured all over my tower and the electric plugs So, I turned it all off, ran and got a towel and dried it all off, rang boss up to say I'd be 30 minutes late for work then dried it off some more and switched it all back on and miraculously it still works so I was very lucky there and will make sure I don't put any more drinks on there
