mem'ry lays down patterns
in the flesh, the bone, the blood
that we inhabit
leaving trails and traces
set for resurrection
at the tug,
a flash of colour
drift of scent
airborne arpeggios
calling back the shape
of a smile, of eyes, of lips
starting echoes of endearments
in the lonely heart
that had almost
but not quite
forgotten it was lonely.
If once we love
the ashes of that fire
are there forever
waiting to be stirred up
by a song.

with thanks and apologies to druidess whose post triggered this.wave

Lonely vibes
in the back of your mind
pushing you forward

bright colours comfort
the cold loneliness
Shine!

I’ve walked this path before...
Do dare to walk
on the traces of my life
It’s safe!

Xtabentun: Tough...
Challenge is an exercise
Of the soul.
Easiness is boring for the complexity of our existence;
We thrive on stress and action
And we forget
To ....breathe in....and breathe out...

Reach out!!!

Touch carries feelings
And a hug carries emotions
Soul to soul light

Healing

Easing

Soothing

Loving...

Open your arms and receive!

souls frame joy,
delicate delight
that soothes the eyes,
that scents the air with perfumes
from imagination,
plays music on the heartstrings
aching to be used and filled
with love
for memories just pave the way
to future pleasures,
words waiting in the wings
to give the lonely spirit
peace.

seems
i hit a couple of nerves...

soz sweetie hug wave

heres a laugh, this should cheer you up - the other night I was leaning back in my computer chair, really comfy thinking I must have missed a control thing on the chair cos it was leaning back a lot further than usual - next thing I knew I was flat on the floor, looking at the ceiling, the chair back under me and in danger of the fire burning my leg - the bewilderment on my face must have looked pretty classic grin

No, thankfully, quite the opposite in fact - every time I think of it I just have to laugh - it was that bewilderment on my face moment - priceless grin

Good to hear.

Have a great weekend...I am agitating to go swimming - my sis is reluctant as she has visions of me and the noodle thingy being swept out to sea.
I am working on her!conversing grin

We have had amazing quantities of rain (poor tourists!) but no high winds particularly. Poor Haiti got walloped several times and all the hurricanes so far have been killers but so far we have been fortunate.

Oh and we have lots of thunder and lightening too with the accompanying power outages so I got a super strength surge protector and turn off all my electronics when it gets really noisy.

I cant picture Barbados with anything other than a light shower, I see it as a beautiful tropical paradise.... It sounds like you are getting some magnificent storms......

My comp got screwd one time when the power went out - luckily it was insured - surge protectors are sure a good ideathumbs up

hug
