I am planning a new years eve party at my place this year and i was thinking of making it a themed night, but i can't think of any good theme's. It needs to be something that won't make you too hot as it can get very hot and muggy where i am, so please throw your ideas at me :) :) :)

Hi Viper, Some friends and I had the same problem a few years back but came up with this-A bbq/Toga Party. Easy enough to make a normal bedsheet into a Toga so there's no expenses for Costume Hire and it can add a little bit of excitement to the evening.Just a thought, hope it all works out and you all have a great and safe evening.
kizzy27: Viper I feel so cheap n used you only call in when you want something lately.....
Ok Ok Im gonna ask ....are you gettin laid ? Im geting laid & I still say Hi !!! I mean you barely say Hi & If it is its Hi & By...

Since it is a New Years Eve party, How about a letter party and have it N.Y.E .. My brain isn't working at the moment but I thought of these for example, but I am sure the others can help u out with more better suggestions
Nerd Ned Kelly Nanna Ninja Nun Nurse Navy officer
Yobo Yanky Yoda Yabby Young Ones
Elf Emu Elephant Elizabeth (queen) Elton John Elvis Easter Bunny Enchantress
OR
a HAT party, that way people can wear something cool given the weather up there, but still dress up with some kind of crazy hat!

Make it an Eskimo party... with a prize for the person who can stay fully dressed the longest.
Lou with the idea of a N.Y.E party i had thought of that but if its a letter party any letters that can relate to wearing nothing (considering i might have family here too) is prob not a good idea knowing what some of my mates are like .... lol
Bourbs, i said we wanted something that is cool, we don't wanna end up passed out from dehydration, passing out from a good time is completley different.... lol
Toga party is not a bad idea but everyone up here has them at some point, am kinda hoping for something a little differt. I need to get thinking though as i gotta send out my invites soon so peope don't make other plans.
Is good to hear from you all :) and cheers for the ideas :) keep em coming if you got any more pplleeaassee :)
