He threw his hat into the ring to become President, but that was before the world wide melt down. He has now taken on an impossible job. I hope that whatever he decides is not judged....he became captain of a sinking ship.

A few weeks to go before 20th January when President-elect Senator Obama becomes President Obama.......... 20th January is a very auspicious day - my parents were married on 20th January 1945. and strayed married until he died 14th August 2008.

I wish the new President of the USA a good first term of office. I say 'first term of office' because I hope he does a good job and if he does a good job he should get re-elected for a second term - right?

I hope he manages to acheive some of his 'vision' for both the USA and relations with the rest of the world; he's said time and again that he'll fail in many of his aims, but at least he'll do his best and be positive.

He has a good attitude. He's changed the attitude of many people. That must be a good thing. We live in hope!
