DazzleYou: It will take a while for you to feel better man. The lungs will do wonders in repairing themselves, and they will never be like new, but it takes 7 years on average for that process.

How have your eating patterns changed? What often happens is that when someone stops an addiction like smoking, another addiction comes into its place - for most it is eating.

You have to understand that nicotine is a stimulant. Stimulants are designed to make you feel better.

The best thing you can do is monitor your diet, get plenty of exercise, and replace the bad habit you have licked with good habits.

Kudos to you for stopping.

Stick with it windrider. I quit once, for a few years, then started again, and have cursed about it ever since. It is much more difficult to quit the second time around.
