download itunes software onto your computer. then put any cd into the computer and it will copy the songs, then plug the ipod in and it will transfer the songs to your ipod. thats the cheapest and easiest way ive found to put music onto ur ipod. not sure about vidoes. hope it helps
hey kez.. do you know why limewire isnt working? maybe there are corrupt files 
try reinstalling it or try winmx (i think that is what it is called) and use that to download songs (but of course dont tell anyone you are doing it

But we have had some success lol
Kezza, I agree with Kizzy about the 16 year old.
My daughter is 16 and seems to be able to operate anything...lol
If I get a new phone I just give it to her to work out.
If the remote is a bit confusing, I give it to her to work out.
If I have a new gadget, I give it to her to work out.
The weird thing is, she has it sorted in minutes.
Mind you, she is a very self sufficent young adult.
SO yeah, after all that waffling on, just get a 16 year old in for technical assistance....lol

However when the 13yo got one for her birthday, we got the local 16yo who came and downloaded songs from CDs. Now the 13yo does it all herself.

Who can give me advice on getting video music on to a iPod?? I have no idea what i am doing with it and my daughter has had it since xmas day with no music lol and of course its up to me to help her with that lol.
Do you have to pay to get the music??
