I'm curious... did you grow up with both of your parents being present?

I rememeber being that age and while I was attracted to older men it would have been like dating someone my dad's age. Too old.

My ex did. there was 17 years between us. She was 17 when we met, and we were together for 5 years.

The problem is that people change. By the time someone gets to their 30s they have an idea as to what is good and what isnt.

As time goes by, the younger partner changes into what he or she will eventually become as a 30 year old, and this can sometimes have disastrous consequences. As in my case.

This is one big disadvantage.

There are lots of advantages in dating older partners. There can be a lot to be learnt from both parties.

My ex was a very strong person, she taught me some invaluable lessons. The time it takes me to apologise has come right down. I have looked at myself a lot since we met, and wondered why? The conclusion was ... I still dont know why ... confused

But as the younger partner there has to be, IMO, the time to be young and enjoy it. It is easy to become wrapped in someone so deeply that they take on your outlook on life.

Blondie, I cannot see you having too many problems getting male company, wether it is the mature company you seek, for the reasons you seek them is an entirely different matter.

But, I have a question for you. Why do like "older" men in their 30s or early 40s? What do they do for you, that the younger bucks dont?

I know how you feel Blondie....

Personally I'm attracted to women in the 70's.... Always have been... Especially ones that have a certain confidence that you can only get from independance...

You know... No financial constraints.... For some odd reason I really find pacemakers attractive... banana

Is it sad, or selective? There are no rules set up for chemistry and attraction, that's a giving'. We all have God given sense, the kicker is to use it.

I totally agree with the "better in bed" phrase...younger guys just want to get their rocks off whereas older guys want to help the younger women get their rocks off!
