I used to know a really nice guy from Hamburg that was dating my best friend,Noelle...she was Mary Lou model and met Marcus while she was modeling in Germany...He even sent me a bootleg U2 "live" Joshua tree tour album in the mail, welcome to the jungle!
Damn,I was wrong...I really thought men took longer. I don't think a woman has ever taken long to get over me...then again, the ex still acts like a maniac on the phone...maybe that means she isn't over me or she is just pissed off at her boyfriend...
I truly believe that men take longer...I see a woman constantly being with another guy the next day or very shortly after a breakup. I know from my experience..they go out with me for lunch, break up and have a dinner date with another guy that night!
So funny...knew this lady that met some guy on a phone dating line and she said the guy would tell her that he was mopping in the buff...like it was going to turn her on...
It's so funny cause the cable customers are always threatening me that they want to disconnect their cable and go to the dish, but I tell the dish isn't any better cause it always messes up with the weather. I really and truly do not agree with how much that cable customers are charging, but then I think about how much they have to pay to lease out the call centers and the cable repairmen, but they still make a billion...wish I owned a cable company!
Yeah,honey...that is where my employment comes in...I think they suck also, but it is rewarding when you can click a mouse to send a signal to someone's box and it starts working...
I agree with you OneEngmaticsoul...thanks so much for the touching post...I apologize for my post if it was interpreted wrong, cause all of us have disabilities of some kind. Some disabilities are evident and some might take awhile to find. I am insulin dep. diabetic and have been for 20 odd years,I am very healthy, but who knows what could happen 10 years down the road. It is so important to find that mate that is there with you no matter where you are physically...I can't help but think of my best friend, age 44,that passed 4 years ago. He had a titanium valve in his heart and he would say that as long as he heard that valve opening and closing, everything was cool. He would bike, watch what he ate and never smoked or drank, but the day after Christmas in 2002 he had an aneurism and died immediately. So,handicap or not,we are on God's time table, not ours.
There is a difference between changing for our good and change for the sake of change...in your case, you changed for your good and it was YOUR choice to do it...
Lord,I forgot about this thread...let's see 1,2,3 months ago...thanks sweetdollen for reviving it for me! I still believe it and I just recently encountered another one trying to change me. It aint gonna happen...
