Langlygirl,moved out of Moms and Dads when I was 18,so I've never brought anyone to meet them unless I was already dating them for awhile. My Mom loved anyone that I loved.
I totally agree with the "better in bed" phrase...younger guys just want to get their rocks off whereas older guys want to help the younger women get their rocks off!
