we are all here on this site looking for the same thing there abouts.
but how many of us have been completley honest with the info that is provided in the profile section of our member's page
and why is it so hard to find someone that is not after your wallet profile and not interested in you as a person genuinely looking for soul mate/companionship/and a life partner. do people expect to much from the people they meet or do people set their standards to high.frustrated

what standards, i dont have any, and when it comes to your wallet i dont mind once its big enough for me to sit on when there are no stools available at the bar rolling on the floor laughing

Its far better to tell the truth and be rejected, then to hold it back and be accepted.be true to one self thats my motto in life

I can't speak for all women of course but we are not all interested in how much money a man has. Being able to pay his own way is enough for me, I cannot stand a mean man or someone who brings up money all the time. As for honesty? If someone tells who how wonderful they are i.e. looks, brains, status, wealth, and they dont turn out to be all that wonderful in your opinion, maybe they believe that they are wonderful. Let them believe it. As for setting your standards too high? Why not. Life is full of disappointments but every now and then you may be surprised.

applause I thought I was the only one with this problem...I met a guy recently from this site and I was shocked because the profile he,d written was not honest, he had failed to tell me he was about 20stone and smaller than what he,d let on,also he was a boaster who dressed atrociously.I felt he,d taken the choice from me.......What I was looking for was definitely not him!!!!confused

At the end of the day there is no point filling out a profile and making yourself out to be something that you are not.

You are always better off being honest on it as all you end up doing is losing the trust of the person that you end up meeting. and no matter what, if the trust is lost then thats it ended there and then.........

I second that one. Met a guy on a different site and he stated he was 6,11" and of average weight. When I met him he just about reached my height but was about 6,11" round his waist. How can somebody be so obviously dishonest?
