Well, it isn't allowed first off to stick a non facial pic. Secondly, it's a little silly to put up a picture of your torso or a cartoon or you from a distance as it doesn't show who you are. The idea of using a picture is to show people what you look like; if you don't want people to find out, you are as well to remove it IMO.
Thirdly, why are you ashamed of your "friends" knowing? Surely if they see you then they are using sites as well?

i see both sides, i do put my pics up now but very few of my non cs friends actually know i'm here ...... i prefer to keep it that way and its private, dont going around saying it

I'm the same Emer but there are only a few close non Cs friends who know I'm on here.
Would change the pic yepee. I mean if someone you know sees it they are on here too

hi everyone and thanks for all the advice yeah i think your right my pic does give the wrong impression, i will take it down , but i still dont think i have the nerve to put my face pic up , is there any way you could just sent private pics to people you talk with but not display it on profile, thanks again everyone for the advice

yup actually that good advice to go to the meet in dublin 18th/19th jan .... just go on the int forum and you'll see the signup thread ..... any problems finding it etc just ask!
doubt it could beat the galway one ..... that was SOME craic
but we'll be doing our best to equal it, wont we lolls
