the exorcist. and a few other ones but the first time i saw exorcist i was shaky afterwards the second time i was grand and even laughed a bit. emily rose was good for the adrenaline too, there was only like 3 scarey bits and the rest was all suspense.

The scariest I've seen lately is The Grudge. Not a lot of gore or anything in it but it is just so creepy.

The Exorcist.
That freaky face that appears in only a couple of shots with the white makeup. Kept me up all night.

The first time I saw 'The Grudge' as well.

Yes to Blair Witch Project (before watching it I never had afear of walking int the woods"). Also the classic The Birds by Hitchcock. Or The Fog by John Carpenter. Both took something very normal and innocent and turned it into something very very scary. Peter

"No country for old men"
The part at the end when the car crash takes place made me jump.
It has been a long time since any movie made me do that.

I don’t know about the scariest but I love the classic stuff especially anything based on Stephen King’s work ,
