This is based on the "Some one help me understand......................" thread by dynamicaura.

We all need something explained at some stage or other. This thread is for the explanations. conversing

I'll start it tongue

I've been messaging a girl today on another site (don't tell anyone blushing) She seems very nice, good looking, sense of humour, looking for a soul mate too and she hasn't seen my photo yet as I have not uploaded it. She has given me her number and told me not to waste it.

I know that this is a typical male question but it might help quite a lot of people in the long run if women give their input.

What is going through her mind? confused

tread carefully don;t give her your number till you have had a few conversations with her- the ones that give out their number quickly are usually scammers- not to burst you bubble, just to enlighten youwave

Exactly laugh

I might test her reaction by saying that I would prefer to email more before moving to phone.

good back up, but i personally would never give my phone number to someone i didn't already have a connection with. why would i?- better to have made a solid connection online first. just there are so many scammers out there, and i am a computer illiterate gal who doesn't really understand the implications of personal info so don't give it out!!

That is very true. I have met a couple that have been completely different. I learned to always have an easy escape route from a date professor

It is a pay as you go and not registered. I can throw it away if necessary as no one knows the number (not even me as it is still in the packet). It is really something that everyone here should consider thumbs up It is really difficult to scam.

I really do give out very little personal info. Not enough to scam me ever. I work in IT and part of that is security. Common sense is the best security wink

It is a terror the amount of info I have gotten from women without asking online. If I was a stalker it would be possible to track most of them down. Everyone should be really careful of what they give out.

Morning T

Am curious about this and have read it a few times and i hope u dont mind the reply...

She hasnt seen ur picture.. now we have and we all know ur nice but by saying dont waste my number i would have taken it to mean if your not nice looking dont bother wasting my time.... but of course that could just be me....i do try to see the best in most people but there is something about this that i dont like but i could be wrong..
I agree with Jampet.. be careful with the phone number. and stick to email for the momentand if she is looking to meet her soul mate when she talks to you on email she will be glad to see ur pic...
I would be inclined to send it anyway... save time.. if she doesnt like the look of u then u know she is shallow... JMO .... BB

Giving her your pic, without her asking shows that you trust her, that your sharing something private with her. that your ready to share something about yourself other than the crap that we all dish out on the forums, the real you is shown.

Ring her, she hasn't asked for your number; if she wanted your number she would ask. You can ring her and not have your number show.

If you don't want to ring, say so and say why.

If they don't accept this just leave it, either they will either go away, or stay and if the latter you can choose to give your number later when/if you feel like it.
