I would suggest if people are bringing CDs on the night that they bring copied ones just in case they go missing or you forget to collect them at the end of the night (and that is not a reflection on the venue or its staff )- lets put it this way...... you've had a few drinks have a man - woman on your arm are you going to remember to collect your CDs????
