It depends on the people its hard to say and it has a lot to do with life experiences and maturity rather than age IMO 
I had 2 experiences with older women, ie ten or more years older, one short and one long...
Actually, I found both of them to be more immature than me...
That's not to say that it wouldn't work, but as with any relationship, it's a case of choosing carefully.

Yep!!! I have gone out with 2 younger men. Asked each of them (after a while) if their families knew they were going out with me? Both said no cos I was older than them and I had kids so it "wouldn't go down well".
Both guys were in their 30s!!!!!!
