Looks and honesty are important but its more than that, its also trust, ambition, SOH, monogamy, empathy, meeting wants and needs, the laundry, the floors, what movies are watched, is a dog necessary, what toothpaste, what books, its everything. Its about who that person is and who they want to be. It doesn’t matter if that person is as honest as the day is long if you cant accept they skin minks for a living. Most importantly its about finding someone that is happy with themselves and is happy to accept you as you are and without that none of the rest matters.

What I really think its about is men accepting women as creatures that always want more shoes/handbags, never having enough clothes and never needing to be told 'your wrong' or 'I told you so' and women accepting that we know cigars are horrible and killing us but we dont care, we know its only a ball stuffed with air but its fun and yes we do need to go out with just the lads from time to time.

A mans honest option, we don’t care what you look like, we care about what you feel like. devil

PS Kirsty Alley works for me ;)

wexlady41: Don't know him at all. Maybe I've seen him and just didn't know his name.

I think maybe people are picking me up wrong though.

I'm not saying everyone should love women who are not supermodels. Just don't say they do, if they don't. If they prefer slim, beautiful young women...say so. There's nothing wrong with that.

Then at least the rest of us will know where we stand.

I'm just sick of false hope.

I guess i like medium sized women then. I'm not into women that look like a stick as you can't cuddle them without fear of breaking them but at the same time I wouldn't be into anyone over 20 stone either. Not saying anything against skinny people or larger people, just not my cup of tea. What can i tell ya? I'm fussy tongue rolling on the floor laughing

a certain someone wrote: well i think your answer was a bit strange i mean if i think about it why would someone wanna put on weight from the gargle? that will only give you a beer gut and you will be a stereotype of irish culture, so everybody from outside ireland seems to think in my opinion! get urself to the gym and do a few reps and squats that will get ya in shape and create muscle not unwanted fat..

well go date battleaxe and panther then see what you think after a night with them.

I love my lard it keeps me warm and cushions me, it makes my skin feel softer and wobbles when I shake my behind thus giving me a nice massage. Muscles are nice but it needs a bit of fat to accompany it.

Ya, that's exacultly what im talking about, i don't have a beer gut or want to have one, but i do like having a bit extra weight to keep me warm over the winter!! can lose it again in Spring, when the evenings are longer and get out more!!

Oh yea, i wasn't slagging any skinny people either, i just said a woman was stunned to hear me say i wanted to gain weight!!

DUBLINGUY1973: Probably for the same reason most women would say their ideal man was George Clooney, Brad Pitt or Michael Buble instead of John Goodman, Jack Black or Drew Carey. Men are not the only ones guilty of of looking for eye candy.

Personally i think personality is far more important than looks. Looks fade plus there is no point dating a model if you don't get on with them.......JMO

I think the whole point here is its the "ideal" person yes these are the ideal men / women people would like but the reality is a different thing. I dont want a buff muscualr man ( GOd forgive me for saying that ) if it means him spending more time in the gym than with me.
Im not making any excuses for my size Im happy with it and if a guy doesnt like it then he can go and find someone else to squeeze yes Im built for comfort and no man has ever complained yet!!!!

When it comes down to it all its better to say ~"there you are than where are you !!! "
You have to love yourself and your size be it big small or in between before anyone else can teddybear teddybear teddybear

absolutely sinead- in my youth- i could dump a guy because i didn't like the way he stood, or laugheddoh but now... maybe i just didn't consider it then, but have grown up enough to realise that jaw drop actually, i am probably not perfect either!!laugh not that i( as a seriously unconfident person) was ever under any illusion that i was, but I'm just saying i am glad that i understand that none of us are, and we have to accept our own 'imperfections' and enjoy the good points we all have wine
