Hi All...

So this Christmas is gonna suck for me. No family to stay with... blah blah blah

Anyone else in Dublin gonna be alone? Let's organize something.

Thanks for the kind words...

Well, I have many friends in Cork but I'd have to go there and come back on the day because I am on call on St. Stephen's Day.

I have a few Dublin friends but they are doing stuff with their families... it would be awkward. I can see it now: "Daddy, why is that man crying?" laugh

I have compiled a list of some hotels that are doing a Christmas lunch so what I'll do is go to one of them. I was just trying to rally other lonely souls to join me.

wave Hi well it sounds like your making plans , so stay positive .... U could b on 2 starting something here......

Xmas is a time for family , whether u like them or not rolling on the floor laughing ...

I would invite u or any1 else on there own , but my house is a cross between the Simpsons and Malcolm in the middle ..so trust me ,it's a mental health issue .... maybe i'll join in on ur plans instead rolling on the floor laughing ....

Well whatever u decide , i wish u all the best , and hope u enjoy it ....wave

Good luck with the Christmas plans, might also be worth seeing if there's something being organised on boards.ie in the Dublin forum, if you don't get enough people on here to join you. Folks there are usually a laugh as well.
