If you're talking about all kinds of love, as in brothers/sisters/parents/children/friends, Then yes it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

If you're talking about romantic love... I'll let you know if I ever experience it!!!

No I dont agree with that saying.

If we never loved we would never had felt the hurt of it ending, to me nothing is worth that hurt.

I think,,theres a big delusion of being in love,,yes i wud say better to have loved and lost than not at all,(mind you at the time,i wud,nt have agreed with it lol,but looking back now yes!),,but many i think, are or where in love with more, the idea of being in love, than really being in love at all,

Well, I'm a non-believer laugh

If I never loved I could have saved myself from a lifetime's worth of hurt (both emotional and physical), pain, money worries.
If I'd never known what it was like to be in love I wouldn't have a yardstick to measure every future relationship by (which I tell myself I don't but ultimately I do). If I had never loved I would be able to make do now, so in that respect maybe it was better to have loved and lost

Hmmm....confused

I'm not sure where I fit into this category, in that, the few women during my life that I ever did love, i.e. in an emotional sense, only ever saw me as a friend, so I was never able to experience two-sided love.

Before anyone, asks, no, I didn't love my ex, long story... mumbling

All I can say is, a heart-felt thanks to whoever invented vodka, the best painkiller of all, especially for a broken heart.
