Well the first step to recovery is admitting your problem.

unfortunately the ladies do get some bad emails not much you can do but report them if they are offensive or you suspect they are scammers but you can block them from sending you any more

is there a way of stopping all these "chat boxes" - they are coming from all over the world.
you can switch off im feature
just go in to account settings on your home page
click my home and at bottom of where your pic is there is account settings

also you can cut down on mail by going to mailbox and block from different countries also from men who not looking for same type of relationship but that might be to restrictive if you get mail from guys here on forum but from different countries should be ok
