If you go with the temp agency and you get the job that you want then you won't have to do anymore jobs that the agency give to you is that correct?

Hi cartim,

That's quite a contract. From what you said, it sounds to me like you will have work guaranteed for two years? Are you allowed to refuse any jobs because of low pay, travel distance, or out of your field? I have worked for lots of temp. agencies and I always had work, that is what the objective is, right?

But I also could refuse certain jobs if they were too far or other valid reasons. Well I could refuse for any reason, but mostly I took the jobs.

You don't give many details to answer your question as to what you should do.

The way I understand what he said is, if he works for the agency for two years at jobs they offer him, they will guarantee him an "interview" for the job he wants. No guarantee the place will hire him, if the interview does not go well. Still work is work.

Jobs are hard to find now. They do the same thing where I work, hire lots of temps (but only 100 days)and hire one or two out of the batch. You have to work for them 2 years? Can't quit? If that's the case, I'd pass
