hi :), if been on here a short while now but not to much success so far, so im wondering if anyone has any help on how to make new friends on here? I am really shy, and though i have recieved a few messages, people dont seem to write back after one or two mails so im a little sad. Im actually a really nice person (well i hope!). I never want to bother people with messaging them at first, so what should i do? Thanks guys,

Same thing happens to me too .... a few emails and then they disappear, but hey lets be realistic sometimes you want them too!

Oh ..... but if your seriously interested in getting to know someone send them another note or flower and ask them if they are interested .... sometimes life gets in the way and sometimes a letter gets lost in the pages. I am learning to try not to read mail when I'm tired because before sometimes I would open it and think to respond later ... the problem is that days pass and then I start to feel bad and usually then the person doesn't want to communicate anymore.

So be fun .... don't send a resume or a novel and don't ask questions like "tell me about yourself" those are too open-ended. Give some details about why you like their profile, tell them a bit about yourself that isn't in your profile and then ask them some specific types of questions - not too personal though. Good luck

Thank you, i actually enjoy writing a lot but perhaps why thats why i havent had a reply yet as i always ask so many things and talk quite a bit to much, i apprechiate the help :), Thank you again.

Try posting to the forums.

Use the search feature first and find something you are interesting in talking about.

Search in the profile sections, find girls that are interesting to you and send some flowers and emails.

Hi yeah it's funny though. I used to get all kinds of flowers, emails, etc..... Then just recently I started posting in the forums, right? And now I rarely get anything! I wonder why that is. Doesn't matter, I still would rather chat in here than get random emails.

True, they send one or two and then they stop. Thing is, a lot of people are looking to find someone in their same area, at least the same country! So they say hello, you say hello, and then what? Sometimes you find someone you can email with for years to come. Most times, you just make some acquaintenances. That's cool too.
