May i share this happy moment...
This afternoon i had a reunion with most of my old school girls..we were 13 in all. Yeah as it happens it is Friday the 13th.too.
What i'm saying is that even though Malta is such a small island, we haven't seen each other for about 35 to 40 years.
As you might have guessed.....yesss??
There was plenty of gossip gossip girl talk....what fun..

Gee MARTI, that is quite an achievement. I'm curious as to how you all found each other. Did you hunt everyone down on the internet, or public notice? Whoever was responsible, what a great result.

Venere08 I was surprised myself to see so many of them who turned up after all these years.
Thing is that three of us kept in contact throughout the years and we searched for the others on internet since we knew where some of them worked.
Now we made a commitment to meet up once a month or so.
What a great success..even though it made us realise how old we are..oh well..never mind.
Isn't the internet wonderful for that? About 18mths ago, I received a surprise email from someone with whom I had studied at University in '78. She and I had been great friends back then.
We caught up again last April. It was a fabulous meet and now make sure we keep in touch on the internet and occasionally the phone. She has since put me in touch with her good friend at the university where she works, who was able to give me some valuable advice I needed and no-one else to provide it for me.
