no i think your perfectly entitled not to reply!! i oftens get e-mails that say ''hi ;)'' and i just couldn't be bothered, if they can't make an effort to take time out to write u a proper one then why bother?? but then i often get some horrible ones back saying how rude i am for not replying!! JMO 
well the person can see if you read email or not so i think they can draw their own conclusions if no reply

I think a thank you for your email usually gets the message across with out being accused of being rude, with IMs I just dont use them and even though it says on my profile I still get men sending them

I used to reply to EVERY email and flower I got, either to say thanks, but no thanks, or to say thank you, Id like to get to know you better.
However, I got so fed up with nasty emails coming back to me when I said I didnt want to take it further, I now just delete and block if I dont want to correspond. Easiest way, I think.

No my Im is off all the time cause it wrecks my head when it's on...

well never got a email one of those but did get 10 min of im with one or 2 words each post was excrutiating finally made my excuse and said had to go

i do try and reply to any mail i get... but sometimes i have a few to read, and somethin else will come up and ill forget to reply to people... but, i will always try to reply to an email at least once... thats just me..

In all honesty if a guy is expecting a reply to a mail should he not make it more than just that.. I do not reply to these messages and never will...
I think I deserve and certainly the rest of the ladies here deserve more than a one worded e-mail.....

Why wouldnt you want to reply to an email? if someone emails you showing interest, and you are not interested, just say so, but i think it would be better to reply to the person at least, unless they are being rude, then totally ignore them.

Well each to their own thats what i say... its totally up to you... personally i reply to all even if its only to say no thanks but thats just me... i think a one word email like HI is the pits.. god out a bit of effort in... if some guy sent me HI he would get a mail back alright but not the type of one he was expecting lol
