Some kids are out the door as soon as they can, others can linger on for years and need a gentle push. love having my kids around but know some 30 and forty somethings gave up the penthouse and moved back home i like my mothers cooking but left home at about 15 or 16 and could never live at home again baldydude: mine just keep coming back

I'm in no hurry for mine to leave but I do look forward to my own space again in the future. I can't imagine my 16 year old fending for himself in the big bad world though. know what you mean im fond of mine calling ,what about the kids who have to fend for themselves from a very early age,most irish kids today dont know what hardship is

It's true they don't know what hardship is and we should be grateful for that. I don't know why some people want kids to have as hard a time as they had. Nobody gets away with it in this life. most kids are good hearted and times are hard for them lately ,but you still get the toffee nose little brats who have no respect for anyone or anything ,its ok i can do what i want, mommy and daddy will buy my way out of it
