THE IRELAND FORUM MEETERS Group Comments (176)
This is for people who have met up at CS meets in Ireland to catch up and keep in touch. Have a laugh and plan future events. Im just updating this to add that we'll stick with the same rules that are on the main forums regarding posting on threads. The only criteria to join this group is you must have attended a CS meet in Ireland....
RE: Maiden Name
Im still working on changing my maiden name ha ha. I suppose you would have to contact the companies most of them will accept an email just changing the name of the account holder. If you are a newly wed and changing to your married name I dont think you would need to send your marriage cert legal documents like deeds and loans may require some confirmation though.I deal with name changes in work regularly and just require that people send it in writing.
RE: Maiden Name
So before you were Mrs. Wexlady were you Miss Wexmaiden?Maiden Name
Has anyone gone through with reverting to their maiden name? I want to go back to using mine now that the kids are finished secondary school. Is there a quick and easy way to do it? Or is it a case of sending Birth cert/Marriage Cert to every company and institution that I deal with... bank, mortgage company, phone company, insurance companies, hospitals etc.....
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
RE: Things You'd Like To See!
You really do need to get out more K!!Things You'd Like To See!
OK for anyone with a fertile imagination like mine post a few of your more insane thoughts!Judge Judy has just grilled a defendant and left the courtroom to make a phone call to verify his story. As everybody in the court sits quietly, Bert, the trusty, uniformed, coloured court officer goes up to Judy's bench and goes through her drawers. The court errupts as he shouts, 'YES' and holds the Red Rampant Rabbit he has discovered up in the air!
RE: This may seem like a strange thread.
In here hiding from the faker! Anyhoos, I want to write a book, a few comedy sketches and I'd love to do that parachute jump too which is strange since I suffer from vertigo! There agai, I'm afraid of my own shaddow! This may seem like a strange thread.
Most of my friends are only up for drinking and dancing or the occasional trip to the cinema. None of them are interested in theatre/opera/ballet etc.I think I was born in the wrong era.
RE: This may seem like a strange thread.
I went to a local production of The Pirate Queen the other week, have seen Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Thats as operatic as I go.The ballet you can keep.
I'd love to do a parachute jump. (will do this one once I have lost the weight)
Someday I'd also love to write a song. (have no head for writing or poetry)
I am lucky in that I have a lot of single friends so there is usually someone available to get up to mischief with me.
Even though I can never convince any of them to sign up here or come to meets!
This may seem like a strange thread.
Ignore it if you want.Is there anything you would love to do but haven't done because you are alone?
I would love to go to an Opera. Have never been to one but think I would enjoy it. We have the Wexford Opera Festival here every October and I have always wanted to go. None of my friends want to though so I've just never gone.
I would love to go to a ballet too. I have been to a couple and loved them but haven't gone since my mother died. Again my friends are not interested.
Sad I know.
As I said... a strange thread.
