Law of Attraction. The major principle expressed in the book and DVD, is that our feelings and thoughts attract events and creates the situations and the circumstances we experience whether they are positive or negative interactions amongst individuals around us and in our physical, emotional, and professional affairs. With repeated cycles of improper thought we repeatedly attract to ourselves negative and non productive circumstances and events. On the other hand, if applied properly we can bring about(attract) positive events and circumstances to improve our lives.
The Principles: Gratitude. It's about being thankful, or being in a state of appreciation while applying the “asking, the believing, and receiving." All this is done while using visualization by using images of what it is we want to aid in the process of manifestation. According to the book and DVD by applying these techniques and principles of thought a universal intelligence responds to our desires by making these desires come about via a law of attraction.
The book and film suggests that those in positions of power try keep this central principle hidden from the public, hence , “the secret.” I don't believe so, this information is available everywhere, in the bible, other scriptures, and books.
