There are some poems which I've written here which I look back on from time to time to see how I constructed them - some of them still make me smile and I know I'm glad I wrote that piece of work. I just wondered did anyone else have a favourite poem that they wrote themselves and for what reason does that poem feel special to them. I don't really mean that you think it's the best poem you ever wrote - but it just means something to you.

"Instinct" is my favorite and was written as an observation of man and animals behavior and how they are similar. wine

I wrote one years ago called ANNIVERSARY, I change it a little each year, as maybe my poetry improves, or the acceptance of my sister taking her own life, improves. Its been a long haul, I'm ashamed to say of this acceptance. Does prove to me though writing can help.
